Chinese cars are mortally dangerous

By 2010, Chinese car companies are planning to reach the annual production of 4 million passenger cars. And it doesn't refer to those cars, which many Chinese joint ventures producing in cooperation with Japanese, European and U.S. firms, but machines of their own production.

Of course, Chinese market won't be able to absorb this quantity of cars itself. Therefore, all Chinese producers without exception rely on exports to Europe, USA and, of course, to Russia, where the first Chinese car appeared a few years ago and aroused certain interest.

It is simple to explain: Chinese cars were initially notable for a very democratic price. But there are also disadvantages which can't be suppressed.

As you know, any vehicle is a source of extreme risk. But in case of Chinese cars it is higher.

Chinese cars are crush-tested by authoritative specialists from Europe. Protective structure of the body in Chinese cars doesn't stand pressures, metal bursts in many places and most surprising is real imitation of some force elements.

All this leads to certain thoughts: despite received certificates of compliance (including Germany), the Chinese machines continue to be very dangerous. Metal, from which they are made, has not a leg to stand on, the quality of assembly also raises concerns, and the level of design work is still very low. The only advantage of these machines is their price, but it is becoming increasingly higher. Retailers, not taking into account the rules of common sense, set so high prices for these cars that the potential buyer now will think hundred times before giving vested earned money for "pig in a poke".

Perhaps the situation will change soon. But first of all approach of the Chinese automakers must change. It is clear that the economy must be economical, but you may not save on safety. Poor screwed nut or anything else may turn into tragedy for tens, if not thousands of people.
